Class Schedule
Our classes are typically on Saturdays and Sundays, but we’re flexible! We can adjust to fit students' schedules, offering sessions on different days, times, or even at night.

Our materials are thoughtfully designed to support new Dari learners, providing everything they need to excel. Students and parents can request any necessary resources at any time during the learning journey.
Parent Involvement
We keep parents and students, including adult learners, updated by discussing progress and encouraging weekly practice to support their Dari learning.

A MESSAGE FROM OUR FOUNDER
I’m Lina Rasikh, founder of Dari Wonders Academy. My journey with Dari-Farsi began in Afghanistan, where language and culture were at the heart of our daily lives. After moving to the United States, I was approached by Afghan families who wanted their children to learn Dari and stay connected to their heritage. What started as a small teaching initiative quickly grew into a full-fledged academy, as I saw how essential it is for our community to preserve our language and culture.
Over the past year, we have successfully helped numerous students improve their Dari skills, and I’m proud to announce that we now also offer an online Quran Karim course, allowing children and adults to strengthen their faith from anywhere in the world. Balancing a full-time job and studying Dental Hygiene while building this academy has been challenging, but deeply rewarding. Dari Wonders Academy is now a platform that provides engaging, accessible, and meaningful learning experiences for learners of all ages, helping them connect with their roots, language, and culture.
After a year of growth and success, I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to Nasrin Mawlany, our Program Director, whose dedication and expertise were instrumental in designing our Dari curriculum. Her hard work has been invaluable in shaping engaging and effective content for our students.
At Dari Wonders Academy, we are also committed to empowering Afghan girls by providing meaningful employment as Dari teachers, enabling them to support themselves while sharing their language and culture. By joining us, you not only reconnect with your roots but also help create opportunities for educated Afghan youth affected by the current situation in Afghanistan. I am excited to lead this initiative and build a community that preserves, celebrates, and shares our rich language and culture.
Meet Our Teacher: Nayem Zarif
My name is Nayem Zarif. I hold a bachelor's degree and have over four years of teaching experience. Currently, I serve as a Dari teacher at Dari Wonders Academy, and I truly enjoy being part of such a dedicated and inspiring team.
I am passionate about teaching Dari because it is not only a beautiful language but also a vital part of our cultural identity. Through my teaching, I aim to help students connect with their heritage and express themselves confidently in their native language. My goal is to continue growing as an educator and contribute to promoting the Dari language among younger generations, both inside and outside of Afghanistan.
